Well Delphi is an interesting place with ruins and a museum. All set in the most beautiful setting.
Looking down to the Corinthian gulf.
Looking out over the hills. Further up is the ski field in winter.
The view over the gymnasium.
The Centre of the universe B. C.
The stadium for the ancient Pythian games.
The Athenian treasury (for consulting the Oracle)
The Roman copy of the centre of the universe.
The road down the hill showing the torturous turns and the aquifer to supply Athens 200 km away.
The valley of olives below Delphi, some of the trees are 500 yrs old and have huge trunks. They have blackened trunks having survived fires and much pruning.
One of very few waterfall in Greece. There are also few rivers. The rainfall is very low.
A typical Greek Orthodox church.
