Leaving Limnos

Well we have left Limnos oN the 20th,  very delightful little fishing village all very traditional, small boats and done with nets.

Fishing boats at Myrina

The traditional boats use traditional nets
And they are not very large,  just one or two fishermen
It would appear much of the population of Limnos make their living this way.

My last Greek salad very traditional and typical.

Another cruise ship in the harbour. There were about 5 cruise ships chasing the same thing, all full of Australians and NZ's visiting Gallipoli.

The ancient  castle overlooking the harbour

The monastery overlooking the harbour on the other side.
Limnos is only 80 km from Gallipoli,  it is where the ANZAC forces set off from.

Looking back on the harbour at Myrina,  Limnos.
